Next-Gen is next week

Wow. It's May now. March felt like its own decade and April flew past. Now that it's May, that means we're one month closer to advent of next-gen, and Xbox is ready to spread some juicy details about Xbox Series X's games. That presentation comes next week, so this week we'll focus on some other scuttlebutt around the gaming world, like:

How Xbox is handling their success during a pandemic

The initiative to give free games to health workers

Valorant's attempts to curb harassment

You'll notice that there's a few articles this week that focus on Xbox. That's not by design, it's because Xbox and Phil Spencer has been making the media rounds, talking about multiple aspects of Microsoft's plan for next-gen. It's hard not to compare that will PlayStation's lack of information. Hopefully, we'll see some news from PlayStation in the coming weeks.

There's a lot of discussion based articles this week and I would love to hear your thoughts about them. You can do that by responding to this email, tweeting @LoadSaveWeekly, or messaging me on Facebook! Whichever way you choose, I'll see it and respond.

As always, thanks for reading. Stay safe and enjoy the read!

Before You Go

Here comes the sun

Thanks for taking the time to read this week's Load Save. There's a lot of uncertainty in the future in my personal life, but one certain thing is that the semester is coming to a close, which means I'll have more time to stream, write articles, and be more active in the gaming world in general.

If you want to checkout my stream, which I do weekly, you can find me on Twitch! You can also find my personal Twitter here if you want to see what I do outside of Load Save (hint: it's more talking about video games).

Thanks again and I'll see you next time!
